I thought today was going to be a short day, but it wasn’t. Rented a car from the airport (instead of from a city location) so I could do most of the driving on the wrong side of a freeway to avoid too many turns, then proceeded to take the wrong road to get to the freeway, bypassing the exit we needed. So we doubled back and went to Stonehenge. Got stuck in a massive traffic jam. Stonehenge is much smaller in person than it appears on TV. Very windy today. Then off to Windsor Castle. Made some more wrong turns, saw most of the town of Windsor and eventually found the castle. The GPS software on this tablet is bad. Unfortunately, I expected it to work so I did not bother to preview a map on how to get there. Driving on the wrong side of the road wasn’t that big of a deal as there are always other cars around to give you clues. Sitting on the wrong side of the car isn’t bad either, although I had a tendency to drift to the left, wanting to put my body near the line on the left. Backing up the car was the biggest trick. All in all a good day (our 15th anniversary). Went to Master’s Super Fish again for another massive plate of fish and chips. Early train tomorrow, bed now, pictures later.
