The bus to Mexico City was supposed to take 5.5 hours but took closer to 6.5 hours (each way). On the way to Mexico City, there was an accident on the toll road and both lanes were blocked for a while. On the way back, traffic was just bad in Mexico City.
Mexico city is insanely large, over 20 million people live in the metro area.
Our hotel was near the Paseo de la Reforma, a wide boulevard in the heart of the city.
Also near our hotel was the Bosque de Chapultepec, one of the largest parks in the western hemisphere.
We also went to the museum of anthropology, which included artifacts from many eras.
This is “art”, el paraguas (the umbrella), in the center courtyard of the museum.
This is how Teotihuacán looked.
