At the airport

Now we wait. It only took about an hour and a half to get from the house, through security, and to the gate. We wanted to get here early so we could eat, but with the flight delay, we now have 4 hours until takeoff. Usually we drive to the airport, but this time we used a shuttle service, so we couldn’t change the time of leaving the house. Oh well, more time to worry if I remembered to turn off the coffee pot.

Laundry on the road

You may ask, “Are they nuts?, Doing laundry in the sink?” Maybe, but the clothes we are bringing are all “quick dry”. We have a bottle of CampSuds, which should rinse easy. We’ve test washed things, and aside from my socks, everything dried overnight. And I think if I squeezed my socks better they might have dried faster. Ah, the magic of non-natural fibers. The clothes are nylon and polyester and other things, but they are soft and you’d never guess they weren’t natural.
