Getting to see more of the small towns here than originally planned. We are on the bus back to Avignon.

I had orange soda with lunch in Orange, France.

Made it to Orange. Saw the old Roman theater. Had some language issues over the lunch order, but everything worked out. Now waiting to see if a bus comes to take us back to Avignon.

Here’s where knowing some French might come in handy. We bought train tickets this morning to the town of Orange to see more Roman stuff. Wandering around the train station I noticed a sign that looked like the train didn’t stop in Orange today due to construction, and that we’d need to transfer to a bus in Avignon. We are currently on that bus (we think). Not sure how we’re getting back just yet. Probably a bus, but where will we find that bus?

On the way back, we stopped in Nimes, famous as the original source of denim (de Nimes – of Nimes). They have an old Roman arena too. (one picture)
