It’s been 2 days into the new year and we haven’t gone on any trips since, like, Tuesday. So we went to see the Chicago Blackhawks play the Vancouver Canucks in Vancouver BC. When we lived in the Seattle area, it was only about a 3 hour drive. Now from the Willamette Valley of Oregon it’s more like 6-7 hours. Not as easy.
We drove through Seattle and were reminded about how crowded it’s become. Of course we also drove through Portland and Vancouver and both of those big cities are very crowded as well.
We wanted to stop at Gorditos in Seattle for an awesome burrito, but they always close for a vacation between Christmas and New Year’s for two weeks, so we missed out. But we did get to stop in at Delfino’s for real-deal Chicago style pizza.
Canucks won 7-5.
