Went to one of the free travel seminars given by Rick Steves (European travel guru as seen on PBS). He lives and has a travel agency/store in Edmonds. Usually every weekend there is some kind of travel seminar, not always given by Steves, but he gave the one we went to. Not sure if this will lead to a European vacation, but you never know. He’s got quite a little empire going, from books to DVDs, tours, luggage and other travel accessories. He’s a very good speaker, throwing in the right amount of humor.
Yeah, I know I said would buy a better camera, not a worse one. This was taken with my new internet tablet, and it has no flash and 1 mega pixel resolution (it’s not intended for picture taking, just Skype video).
