Wichita, Kansas
I’m not sure what was going on, but downtown Wichita seemed dead. There were cars driving around, but absolutely zero people walking around, even at lunch time.
This was a total checkbox visit. We made it to Kansas. Done. We had trouble finding things to do. We saw The Keeper of the Plains statue on the river and we went to Botanica, the botanical garden (which was nice, but mostly only tulips were blooming at this time of year).
