Panda
Another reason we chose to visit Mexico City was because their zoo has a panda. When we were in Mexico City in 2019, we were walking around the park waiting for a museum to open. We walked past the zoo and decided not to go in because we figured, seen one zoo seen them all. Well it turns out we had been wanting to see a panda in person, but we didn’t know that Mexico City had a panda. And the bigger kick in the head was that the zoo is free to enter!
Because the zoo is in the Bosque de Chapultepec, where we were walking almost everyday, we went to the zoo probably 10-15 times. We ended up with about 100 pictures of the panda and about 3 pictures of us.
It’s a very nice zoo. One of the nicest we’ve been to in all our travels. Lots of animals, in a park like setting. More pictures of the zoo on the next page, but for now: PANDA!
