In 1995, the company I worked for, Frame Technology, asked a few of their Chicago area developers to relocate to San Jose. So Denise and I, newly married, headed out on a house hunting/decision making trip. As you know by now, we didn’t move. But we spent 5 days in the area, staying at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel in San Jose on the company’s tab.
