Washington, D.C. 1999

Here are some pictures, in no particular order:

We visited the National Air and Space Museum. The Air and Space Museum is very nice. It has many items on exhibit from the US and Russian Space programs. Here is the Apollo 11 Command Module “Columbia” that carried home the first men who walked on the moon.

Here is a bad picture of me standing next to an Apollo (15?) spacesuit that actually walked on the Moon.

Here is the Capitol Building – by the way, you’ll probably notice that everything was under construction while we where there.

The Washington Monument under construction and Denise standing at the Lincoln Memorial (We didn’t go in the Washington Monument)

Here’s the Lincoln Memorial, me standing by Abe, and the Reflecting Pool in front of the Memorial.

The Jefferson Memorial and Denise standing in front of Thom’s statue inside the Memorial

The White House. I have no idea which is the front and which is the back. We didn’t take the tour, the line to get tickets was extremely long.
