Sure is ccccold up here.

Currently at about 3842m (12,678 ft) at Aiguille du Midi. I could climb Mt. Rainier, but that would take too long. This took 20 minutes.

Plane was 2 hours late. Made it to Chamonix, France. Much nicer temperature. The highs here will be 15 (59) instead of 30 (86).

At Naples airport. Flight to Geneva is delayed. Had to let our shuttle bus company (to Chamonix) know about the delay. Since I did not buy a SIM card for the cell phone, had to send a text message via Google voice. 5 stars for Google voice and Boingo.

No new pictures today (Sunday). We took today off. I uploaded some pictures and Denise read. Tonight I’ve paid some bills and am now listening to the Cubs game. We are 4 for 4 on pizza per day. Tomorrow morning we go back through the chaos that is Naples and fly to Geneva Switzerland. We hired a shared shuttle bus to drive us from Geneva to Chamonix France. The shuttle bus takes 1:10. If we were to take trains it would have been more scenic, but would have taken something like 3 or 4 hours.
