Naples is a chaotic mess of cars, people and graffiti. We landed at the air port, tried to buy the tourist card that gets you into museums for free or half price, and includes free public transit. Was supposed to be available at airport. No, info desk person says get at Giribaldi train station. Bought €3 bus ticket to train station. Ask at station. No that guy didn’t show up to work today. Buy it at the museum. Bought €1.10 metro ticket to get to museum. Could have walked faster than the metro ran.

End of day in Basel
It’s getting late after another long day. We have to get up early tomorrow to catch a plane to Naples. I’ll post pictures later.
Basel prices
Prices seem really high in Basel, but we’ve only paid for a hotel and a dinner (a very tasty EuroAsian restaurant down the block).
