In Arles, France. Walked around a bit. Watch your step. Dog droppings everywhere. I had a dinner of gardianne de taureau (bull stew) and Denise chickened out and had a salad.

Train from Lyon to Arles just left, 1.5 hours late. Woman across aisle coughing and sniffling, I’m trying not to breathe.

So the regional trains (2 at different times) were canceled due to construction. Yet the TGV just stopped at one of the stations that was under construction. Two of the platforms were closed, but it looked like a couple were still open (since we just stopped at one).

TGV, much more comfortable than a bus.

So much for seeing Geneva. We arrived at the main train station to discover the train we wanted to Lyon was cancelled. It was replaced by a bus, which takes 2.5 hours. No thanks. Sprung for the TGV, 1.5 hour ride, but we need to leave right away.
