Guanajuato
This is the place where we’d buy rotisserie chicken. It’s not a restaurant. It’s just a brick oven right inside the door. You might have to zoom in on the picture to see the flames in the doorway just to the left of the light pole. For 95 pesos (around US$5) you get a whole chicken, some potatoes and a salad. We went there a bunch of times.
The Alhóndiga de Granaditas is now a museum, but was an important location during the Mexican War of Independence in 1810.
I don’t think I posted any pictures with cactus yet, so here’s one.
One day we were walking north of the Centro and ran into a castle. This is a hotel, I think built in the 1950’s, but the land was something all the way back into the 1600’s.
If I posted all of the pictures of us eating ice cream on all of our trips, there wouldn’t be room for any other pictures, but here’s yet another one.
