Day 4 - Sep 6, 2005 Last updated: 10/15/05 8:00pm PT
Lewiston, ID has an awfully interesting smell at times. Let me rephrase that, it’s just an awful smell. There is a paper mill that is just nasty. Today we drove home. There were only two stops planned, the Palouse Falls and the Ginkgo Petrified Forest.
Sometimes you see weird stuff when you take the backroads. This is art in the middle of nowhere near the town of Pataha
The Palouse Falls are pretty small and not really worth the 2 mile drive off the road to see.
The final stop was at the Ginkgo Petrified forest. It’s just a bunch of rocks on the ground. Or maybe I was tired of driving and wanted to get home. Here’s Denise at the Columbia River.
