On the way to Asheville, NC, we drove to the Kuwohi Observation Deck. The observation deck straddles the state line between Tennessee and North Carolina and has some great views of the Smoky Mountains.
After Kuwohi, we made a quick stop at Newfound Gap, also on the border between Tennessee and North Carolina.
Hey look! Us at the Appalachian Trail again, which we also crossed in West Virginia.
More waterfalls at Deep Creek, NC.
We finished up our day in Asheville, NC. To get there, we drove a portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
