Elephant Rocks State Park MO, Parkin AR & Memphis TN

Elephant Rocks State Park is about a 1.5 hour drive from St. Louis. It was a nice park with interesting rock formations. Well worth the stop.
It was tough finding interesting activities in Arkansas without traveling many miles in the wrong direction. We stopped in Jonesboro for custard at Andy’s, then stopped in Parkin, AR at the Parkin Archeological State Park, which is very small and not that interesting.
We stayed at a hotel in West Memphis, AR. In the early evening we drove into downtown Memphis to see Beale St.
