The Iolani Palace was the royal residence (and the Queen’s prison when the US annexed Hawaii). It’s the only museum we’ve ever visited that made you where booties over your shoes.
Across the street was the King Kamehameha Statue.
The Bishop Museum is a history and science museum. The science stuff was geared toward kids, but the history was interesting.
