Atlanta, GA
We visited the largest aquarium in the western hemisphere, the Georgia Aquarium. The aquarium is pretty cool. They have big whale sharks (not whales or sharks, just a big fish), cool rays and cute otters. There are a few places where the tanks are above your head, so you get an interesting view of the fish.
Sleeping sea otter, some jelly fish and some penguins.
Notice the seam in the giant glass wall, holding back all that water? Hope it doesn’t leak.
Atlanta also had a DragonCon convention going on, so there were all sorts people on the streets wearing crazy costumes. Below is a ‘sea dragon’.
We also went to the Atlanta History Center, which had a 1930s house, Civil War stuff, folk art, and Olympics stuff. No pictures were taken.
