Huntsville is home to the U. S. Space & Rocket Center. A lot of the early rocket design work was done by NASA in Huntsville.
This is the Space Shuttle Pathfinder, which isn’t a real shuttle, it’s a full size simulator/mock-up.
This Saturn V isn’t real either. This full size replica was built in 1999 for the 30th anniversary of the moon landings.
This rocket is huge. Here Denise is standing below the Saturn V in a purple shirt.
Other rockets outside
Inside they have a Saturn V laying on its side. This rocket was used to test vibrations that might be experienced during a launch.
