Day 19 - Mar 23, 2013 Last updated: 4/7/13 7:00pm PT
Today we woke to freezing temperatures (32F/0C) and snow in London. This is our last weekend of the trip. Today we went to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studio Tour. About a 20 minute train ride from London is where many of the Harry Potter sets were built and used in filming of the movies. The studio is now a massive tourist attraction. Boy are they raking in the money. The place has been open for one year, and it was jam packed. You have to buy your tickets in advance, and the tickets are for a specific time. They have a massive gift shop where you can buy all sorts of trinkets and clothes and candy and books and anything else that will hold a Harry Potter logo. We spent almost 4 hours wandering around on the tour. Some reviews said you could spend much more time than that, depending on how fanatic you are about Harry Potter (the entrance was timed, the amount of time you spend walking around is not timed – you can take all day if you want).
See the white spots in the picture? That’s snow.
The crazy people who want to see Harry Potter.

Butter Beer tastes like cream soda with frosting mixed in. Instant cavities.
The last room of the tour has a huge model of the school.
