Day 4 - Mar 8, 2013 Last updated: 3/31/13 8:00pm PT
Today we were on our own. Carrie was headed to Bath to get a book signed by JK Rowling. We were headed to Brighton. Brighton might have been a good idea in summer, but not so much at the tail end of winter. It was cold and rainy. Brighton is a little over an hour away from London.
The pier has a penny arcade, to get the kids hooked on gambling early, and also has slot machines for adults. There was a Ferris wheel and more rides were being constructed – they must not leave the rides outside all winter. The town of Brighton is filled with shops catering toward tourists. We browsed a few, had some pasties for lunch then headed back to London.
Dinner was at Masters Super Fish, again.
