Harpers Ferry, WV

This morning we drove to West Virginia to visit Harpers Ferry. A portion of the town is a national park, many of the buildings are mini-museums.
If we look uncomfortable in the picture below, it’s because it was very hard to keep our eyes open and smile. There were a ton of tiny flying bugs that swarmed our heads throughout the whole town. We didn’t stay long because of this.
We walked across the bridge behind us, so that 100 feet is probably the only time we’ll hike the Appalachian Trail.
Lunch was at Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls. We got the Connecticut Rolls, served warm and tossed in butter. Small but yummy. (I forgot to take a picture)
