Today we walked around on the Canadian side.

We went to the Tunnel at Niagara Parks Power Station. This only opened a couple of years ago. It’s an old power plant where you take an elevator down and walk through the old tunnel that dispatched the water after it was used to generate electricity at the power station. It’s a fairly long walk, but well worth it for the views from the bottom of the falls.

Yes, that is snow/ice and we did get a bit wet.

Here’s the inside of the power station, which is now a museum.

Then we took a funicular up the hill so we could walk back to our hotel.

Denise found some old pictures of her as a little kid from a family trip to Niagara Falls. We tried to find the exact spot where the pictures were taken. We got very close, but we think the topography has changed a little in the last 45-50 years.
