The first Hall of Fame we went to was the only one where we didn’t go inside. We haven’t followed football in years, and couldn’t excite ourselves enough to go inside, so here’s a picture from the parking lot.
Just north of the Football Hall of Fame is the Fanny May chocolate factory. They give a tour where you can see machines making candy. You are really a bit far from the machines, which was expected. It’s not like they were going to let me in to lick the chocolate bowls clean. But they did give samples, so yeah!
We tried the Fanny May Buckeye, which is like a mini peanut butter cup, but with smoother, creamier, (better) peanut butter than a Reese’s. (Denise actually preferred the Reese’s, Ed liked the Buckeye).
For dinner, we stumbled on an Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips in Cleveland. We hadn’t seen these in 40-50 years. It was kinda dumpy and the fish tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in 40-50 years.
