Delaware & Philadelphia

We spent 4 nights in the suburbs of Philadelphia. We used this as a base to see multiple areas.
On the first day, we drove to Delaware (it’s really close). We went to the First State National Park in New Castle, DE. The guided tour in the New Castle Court House Museum was very informative. We learned that Delaware wasn’t officially a colony, it was 3 counties that were part of Pennsylvania.
Lunch was at Goober’s Diner in Wilmington, DE
After lunch it was back to Philly to visit Independence Hall, Carpenter’s Hall and the original Congress building.
