Asbury Park, NJ

The first stop was Asbury Park, New Jersey. We wanted to walk the boardwalk on the Atlantic Ocean. It was extremely windy, a little rainy and very cold. Almost everything was closed as it was still off-season. We didn’t stay long.
Our next stop was Philadelphia. In the afternoon we stopped at John’s Roast Pork for a roast pork sandwich. It was pretty good (better than cheesesteaks, but not better than Italian Beef from Chicago)
We also stopped in downtown Philly at Levain Bakery for some awesome cookies. These are really thick, like 1-2 inches thick, and soft on the inside. We went there twice. The picture does not do it justice.
